On these magical nights an ever changing kaleidoscope of lights erupt above the river in a shimmering cascade of colour. ‘The Pearl of the Rhine' lies on a huge bend of the famous river.
Where you will be staying
Ebertor Hotel, Boppard
The hotel offers a bar, dance room, games room, bowling alley, lounges, three restaurants and a riverside beer garden and terrace. En suite bedrooms have aTV, radio and telephone.
What you will be doing
Day 1 We travel to Folkestone for our shuttle crossing to Calais and onwards to Boppard.
Day 2 After breakfast we include a Rhine river cruise passing attractive towns. We board the coach and continue to Rüdesheim.
Day 3 A morning at leisure before leaving for an afternoon excursion to Koblenz. We have arranged an early dinner before a visit to the spectacular Rhine in Flames magical display.
Day 4 After the previous late night we have a morning at leisure in Boppard. In the afternoon we have a leisurely tour crossing the river to St Goarshausen before climbing to the top of the famous Lorelei Rock with superb views over the river.
LAST DAY Sadly we depart for Folkestone and our journey home.
