Included in our tour is one of the most popular train journeys in Switzerland, the Glacier Express. Join us as it travels through the natural unspoilt scenery of the alpine peaks.
Where you will be staying
Hotel Walzenhausen, Lake Constance
En suite bedrooms with a hairdryer, satellite TV, radio, mini bar and safe. The hotel has a lift (not to all rooms), bar and restaurant, an indoor swimming pool, whirlpool, sauna and solarium.
What you will be doing
Day 1 Travel to Dover/Folkestone for the early afternoon ferry/shuttle crossing to Calais. Continue to the overnight's accommodation.
Day 2 Continue to Walzenhausen arriving with time to relax before dinner.
Day 3 A relaxing first day as we enjoy a local Rorschach roundtrip down to the shores of Lake Constance.
Day 4 Today we have a panorama trip through the heart of Switzerland on the Glacier Express. We return by coach to our hotel via the circular route enjoying more stunning alpine scenery.
Day 5 Today we visit the historical town of Constance before continuing to the flower paradise of Mainau Island.
Day 6 A full day excursion to Zurich.
Day 7 Sadly its time to depart the hotel and travel to our overnight's accommodation.
LAST DAY Travel to Calais for the afternoon ferry/shuttle crossing and complete the journey home.
