A chance to explore one of France's most beautiful regions. Built on a cliff-face towering over the Alzou Canyon, our holiday centre enjoys a remarkable setting with real charm and character.
Where you will be staying
Hôtel du Château, Rocamadour
The hotel is perfectly situated in Rocamadour near to the centre. The hotel has a bar, restaurant and outdoor swimming pool. The restaurant is situated nearby to the main hotel. All rooms are en suite and have a telephone and TV.
What you will be doing
Day 1 A morning departure to Dover and Calais and to our overnight hotel.
Day 2 We travel through the rolling hills of the Haute-Vienne. There is the opportunity to take an optional visit to Oradour-sur-Glane. We continue into the Dordogne to arrive at our spectacular holiday base.
Days 3 - 5 At leisure in Rocamadour with two included excursions. There is plenty of time for relaxing, unwinding and exploring.
A full day included scenic drive exploring tranquil River Vezere. We shall visit Sarlat, where there will be an opportunity to take an optional walking tour in one of the most attractive towns. Leaving Sarlat we continue to Beynac where you may take an optional boat cruise to view the castle and château.
A full day included excursion firstly visiting Figeac, a town of narrow streets and ancient walls. Then onto the historic market town of Cahors and the River Lot.
Day 6 We retrace our steps bound for our last night stop in the Paris area. Your Tour Manager/Driver may offer an optional farewell Dinner and tour in Paris. (Please note there may be circumstances when the overnight hotel will not be in Paris, in which case the tour cannot be offered).
LAST DAY We depart for Calais and our ferry crossing to Dover, arriving home during the evening.
