Croatia is home to some of the most magnificent coastal scenery in Europe.
Where you will be staying
Hotel Astoria, Lake Bled, Slovenia
All bedrooms are equipped with a hairdryer, TV, telephone, safe, minibar and air conditioning. The hotel has a restaurant, lounge, lift and a terrace café and bar.
Grand Hotel, Opatija, Croatia
All en suite bedrooms have a hairdryer, TV, mini-bar and safety deposit box. The hotel has a restaurant, bar, lift to all floors, spa and indoor swimming pool.
What you will be doing
Day 1 Travel to Dover/Folkestone for the early afternoon ferry/shuttle crossing to Calais. Continue to the overnight accommodation.
Day 2 We travel through Germany into Austria and our overnight hotel.
Day 3 Into Slovenia arriving for our 2 nights accommodation on Lake Bled.
Day 4 A day at leisure in Bled, a delightful resort with its many shops, cafes and bars. Lake Bled lies in the foothills of the Julian Alps.
Day 5 We travel to Ljubljana where we include a short walking tour. We then continue to the Postojna Caves, before completing our journey into Croatia.
Day 6 A day at leisure in Opatija to relax and explore your new surroundings.
Day 7 A full day discovering the historical and cultural heritage of the Istrian Peninsula. We visit Porec before continuing to Rovinj. We finally arrive in Pula. We include guided tours of Rovinj and Pula.
Day 8 Today we have a full day tour to the Island of Krk. The Island roundtrip begins with a visit to the town of Krk, our next stop is Punat from where one goes via boat to the small isle of Kosljun. After Punat we continue Vrbnik.
Day 9 We travel via Trieste to our overnight's accommodation.
Day 10 Enjoy the scenery as we travel to our overnight's accommodation.
LAST DAY Travel to Calais for the afternoon ferry/shuttle crossing.
